GhostLab Family Privacy Policy
This policy covers the GhostLab family of apps from ADK Cyber (Jack Miller). It is not limited to GhostLab: Paranormal Toolkit.
Who we are
GhostLab apps are published by ADK Cyber / Jack Miller. Support is ghostlabsupport@inkboxmail.com.
This family currently includes GhostLab: Paranormal Toolkit, GhostLab: Tarot, GhostLab: Eight Ball, GhostLab: Palmistry, GhostLab: Night Glide, and GhostLab: Spirit Detector.
Family practices
- We do not sell personal data.
- When an app offers purchases, those purchases go through Apple StoreKit on the App Store.
- You can email support at ghostlabsupport@inkboxmail.com with privacy questions about any GhostLab app.
Each app below is described only from what that product actually uses. A statement that is true for one title (such as “no ads” for Paranormal Toolkit) is not a family-wide claim.
GhostLab: Paranormal Toolkit
GhostLab: Paranormal Toolkit (formerly SpectralEVP) has no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no servers of our own. Investigation recordings, videos, notes, and settings stay on your device unless you export or share them.
The app may ask iOS for:
- Microphone for EVP sessions and Spirit Speak Live Chat. Recordings stay in the on-device Library.
- Speech recognition to loosely match spoken questions. Depending on device settings, Apple may process speech. See Apple’s Privacy Policy. We do not store that audio off-device.
- Names you say aloud during a Spirit Speak hunt (for example, “my name is Jack”) may be remembered on this device, with the time they were last heard, so the spirit can recognize you in a later hunt. They never leave the device, and deleting the app erases them.
- Camera for the low-light overlay, Motion-Grid, SLS view, and optional session video. Video is saved with the investigation on this device.
- Photos (add only) when you tap “Save to Photos.” The app cannot read your existing photos.
- Location (while using the app) for nearby places, compass heading, tagging where a session was recorded, and placing spots you tag on the Haunts map. Location stays in the session files and tags on your device until you share a tag. A shared tag link carries the spot’s exact location and your name to the people you send it to; see Shared tags in the Paranormal Toolkit policy. During a Spirit Speak hunt, the app may send your current position to Apple's address lookup (on iPhone) or Google's (on Android) to learn what kind of place you are near, such as a cemetery or a church, so the spirit's words can fit it. Only that place type is used, in memory for that hunt, and it is never saved with the session.
- Barometer to log environmental pressure trends during sessions.
- Local network (Team) for peer-to-peer sharing between nearby phones. Nothing passes through our servers.
- Ultra-wideband (Nearby Interaction) to measure distance to a second U1-capable device used as a trigger object.
- Apple Watch companion commands via WatchConnectivity, device to device.
You can decline or revoke any permission in iOS Settings. The related feature will not function.
GhostLab: Tarot
GhostLab: Tarot (App Store bundle com.cloudpet.app) is an on-device card lab. It is entertainment only. It does not provide user accounts.
Readings and journal entries stay on your device unless you share them.
The free version shows non-personalized ads from Google AdMob; a one-time Pro purchase removes them. The app does not track you across other apps or websites.

- Apple speech recognition to turn a spoken question into text. Apple may process speech. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Night Glide
Night Glide is a spirit-board experience for entertainment. Séances and board memory stay on your device. Local network permission lets two phones share one séance, peer to peer.
The free version shows non-personalized ads from Google AdMob; a one-time Plus purchase removes them.

GhostLab: Eight Ball
GhostLab: Eight Ball is an on-device yes/no toy. It is entertainment only.
GhostLab: Palmistry
GhostLab: Palmistry photographs your palm with your permission and reads it on the device. Palm photos never leave your phone.
The free version shows non-personalized ads from Google AdMob; a one-time Pro purchase removes them.

GhostLab: Spirit Detector
GhostLab: Spirit Detector draws the room around you as points of light using the LiDAR scanner on iPhone Pro and iPad Pro models. It has no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no servers of our own. It makes no network requests at all. Scans, snapshots, and recordings stay on your device unless you export or share them.
The app may ask iOS for:
- Camera for ARKit world tracking and scene depth. The camera feed and the depth readings are used to place the dots on screen. Nothing is written to disk unless you take a snapshot or start a recording, and those files go to the app’s on-device Library.
- Photos (add only) when you turn on “Also save to Photos” or share a capture. The app cannot read your existing photos.
Spirit Detector does not use the microphone, and the videos it records have no audio track. It does not use location. You can decline or revoke either permission in iOS Settings, and the related feature will not function.
A 48 hour free trial runs on first launch, after which a one-time purchase unlocks the app for life. Purchases go through Apple StoreKit on the App Store; we never see your payment details. The trial start time is stored in this device’s keychain.
Spirit Detector is an entertainment tool. The dots are distance measurements from the scanner, not evidence of anything paranormal.
